Snapchat shares drops after been slammed by Rihanna over ad

Shares of Snap fell more than 4% on Thursday after Rihanna slammed them for its recent advert that asked “would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown."

Rihanna who was quite furious over the ad, blasted Snapchat on her IG account.

Though Snapchat had since apologized for the ad on Wednesday, saying it was an error.

“The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines,” the company said, . “We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened.”
