Cardi B sued by blogger for $1 million over alleged death threats

Cardi B has been hit with a $1 million counter lawsuit by a YouTube blogger who claims she fears for her life after receiving death threats from the rapper's fans.

Cardi B previously sued a blogger by the name of Latasha K, along with her friend, before putting Latasha on blast in an Instagram video.

Now, Latasha K claims that Cardi's Instagram video where she calls her out by name has resulted in severe emotional distress.

According to The Blast, Latasha K has filed a countersuit against Cardi B two months after the rapper filed a defamation suit against the blogger.

In court documents, she admits to speaking about Cardi, along with her friend in a YouTube video. She said that Cardi privately requested to remove the video which appears to still be online.

Latasha continued to say that she offered to interview Cardi to discuss the issues but the Bronx rapper declined.

"Cardi B began to publicly defame Ms. Kebe, referring to her as ‘this blogger lady, by stating that Ms. Kebe makes up fake stories; harasses all of Cardi B’s friends; constantly stalks Cardi B; falsely claims that she has legitimate sources giving her information about Cardi B; uses Cardi B’s name for ‘click bait’; and many other false accusations," Latasha said in response to Cardi's suit.

She said that the public defamation resulted in "gang-related threats" which forced her to move to another home.

She said it's also affected her income after losing subscribers and advertisers.

Latasha K told the court that she's pregnant and suffering from severe emotional distress, anxiety, panic, stress, insomnia, humiliation, and depression.

She's seeking $1M in damages from Cardi.
