Justin Bieber says Eminem doesn't understand the new generation of rap

Justin Bieber has claimed that Eminem doesn’t “understand” new generation of rap songs, in reaction to Eminem’s previous criticism of younger rappers.

The 25-year-old popstar took to Instagram story, sharing a screenshot of his phone screen while listening to Eminem’s Kamikaze track “The Ringer.”

While he admitted to liking his flow, Bieber called out the Detroit rapper for “dissing” younger MCs and claimed he doesn’t understand the new wave of hip-hop.

“I just like Em’s flow but don’t like that he’s dissing new rappers,” wrote Bieber. “I like the new generation of rap he just doesn’t understand it.”

In the song, Eminem takes jabs at several of his fellow rappers, such as Lil Xan, Lil Pump and Lil Yachty.
