Janet Jackson reveals she is in a 'great space' because of two-year-old son Eissa

Better times are here for Janet Jackson, and she's thanking her two-year-old son Eissa for it.

Jackson told the Sunday Times in an interview published Sunday that she's in a 'great space.' 'I have a beautiful son,' Jackson said immediately afterward.

Jackson has even said her son has inspired a new nickname her friends and family have for her. 'My friends call me Superwoman,' she said.

'God knows I’m not. But I think what they are seeing is the energy and that extra drive I’m getting from the inspiration of Eissa.'

The Rhythm Nation songstress may have launched a residency in Las Vegas earlier this year, but she asserts that she's 'slowed down a great deal' in order to get more quality time in with Eissa.

Meanwhile, Eissa has adopted a new role as one of Jackson's biggest cheerleaders.

'He comes to the rehearsals. He sings along. He loves being around the kids,' she said.
