Taylor Swift is named Forbes’ richest celebrity with £147 million income

Singer, Taylor Swift, 29, has been named the richest celebrity of 2019, in Forbes’ Celebrity 100 List, after pulling in a pre-tax income of $185 million (£147m).

The You Need To Calm Down singer’s salary grew by 131% after her 2018 income of $80 million (£63 million).

This figure takes into account the income from Tay’s Reputation tour dates in 2018, as well as Netflix’s streaming of the tour, and her new deal at Republic Records, rumoured to be worth up tp $200 million (£159m).

Taylor – who is currently feuding with Scooter Braun over the ownership of her masters following the sale of her former label Big Machine – managed to beat self-made millionaire Kylie Jenner, who came in second place with a 2019 income of $170 million (£135m).
