'High School Musical' star Ashley Tisdale announces she is pregnant with her first child

High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband, Christopher French, 38.

 Ashley, 35, shared the happy news with her 12.8 million followers on Thursday, posting a series of photos with her husband.

In the first of the photos, the pair stand toe-to-toe while both looking down at Ashley's small bump as the actress cradles it, while in the second, they give each other beaming smiles. 

Both wear white while standing in the garden of the their Hollywood Hills home. 

The comments instantly lit up as Ashley's former co-stars and she and her musician husband's famous friends posted their congratulations. 

Ashley's longtime friend and former HSM co-star wrote Vanessa Hudgens: "Just the freaking cutest," adding on Christopher's post: "So so happy for u guyssssss. Congratulations."

"So happy for you babe! You're going to be the best mama!" wrote Lea Michele, another HSM co-star. 

"Omg congratulations!!!" said Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco.
