Melania Trump exchange pleasantries with Barack Obama at Barbara Bush's funeral ceremony

Many prominent people, including well-known politicians, gathered to honor former First Lady Barbara Bush during her funeral services at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston on April 21. 

Attendees included the Bush family, former president Bill Clinton and former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and former President Barack Obama, who was seated next to current First Lady Melania Trump.
Melania attended the service on behalf of her husband.

Melania Trump and Barack Obama sat next to one another in the front pew and talked, occasionally smiling . . .

Popular Swedish DJ Avicii's songs sales increases following death

In the wake of Avicii’s death on Friday, his digital song sales in the U.S. grew tremendously as fans remembered the superstar DJ/producer/artist’s music. Based on preliminary sales reports to Nielsen Music, Avicii’s song sales increased by over 6,000 percent on April 20 versus the previous day.

Collectively, his catalog of songs sold around 25,000 downloads on Friday, as compared to just under 1,000 the previous day.

Meanwhile, sales of his albums — which include the No. 5-peaking Billboard 200 chart hit True — increased by 12,000 percent on April 20 to around 2,000 copies sold (up from a negligible figure the previous day).

His biggest selling song on April 20 was his No. 4-peaking Billboard Hot 100 hit “Wake Me Up!,” which sold nearly 8,000 downloads — up over 6,100 percent. His top three sellers were rounded out by “Levels” and “Hey Brother."

Austin powers actor Verne Troye dies at 49

Verne Troyer, an actor best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers series, has died at age 49, according to a statement on the actor's official Facebook page.

"It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today," the statement reads. "Verne was an extremely caring individual. He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, and laugh. Anybody in need, he would help to any extent possible. Verne hoped he made a positive change with the platform he had and worked towards spreading that message everyday."

The statement makes sweeping statements about depression and suicide. "Verne was also a fighter when it came to his own battles. Over the years he’s struggled and won, struggled and won, struggled and fought some more, but unfortunately this time was too much," it says. "Depression and Suicide are very serious issues. You never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside. Be kind to one another. And always know, it’s never too late to reach out to someone for help."

No cause of death has been given yet.

Stalker broke into Taylor Swift house, showered and slept off

This is crazy..... A stalker has been arrested after he broke into Taylor Swift's house, took a shower and slept in her bed. 

Roger Alvarado, 22, allegedly climbed up a ladder and smashed a window into her New York apartment early on Friday morning (local time), law enforcement sources told gossip site TMZ.

A neighbour spotted the break-in and called the police, who arrived to find him asleep.

He was arrested and charged with stalking, burglary and criminal mischief.

Swift reportedly owns the home but has never lived there, nor was she there at the time.

In February police arrested the same man for trying to break into the $18 million townhouse with a shovel.

Swedish DJ and producer Avicii dies at 28

DJ and producer Tim Bergling, best known as Avicii , has died at the age of 28. He passed away on Friday, April 20, his publicist confirmed in a statement.


“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii,” the statement reads. “He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated, and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

Tim Bergling, began his music career in 2007, signing on with the Dejfitts Plays label. He released his first hit, “Seek Bromance,” in 2010, which topped charts in several countries. Later that year, he signed with EMI Music Publishing.

“We feel lucky and blessed to introduce our son Max Walker Lauren! He was born yesterday (April 19) at 5:33 am weighing 7lbs 8oz, “he is happy and healthy and enjoying his new world!”

The couple who got married in September 2011, had their first son, James Richard, in November 2015.
