Avengers star Jeremy Renner accused by ex-wife of threatening to kill her

“Avengers” star Jeremy Renner is facing alarming accusations as his ex-wife pursues sole custody of their daughter in a Los Angeles court.

In a new filing ahead of a legal showdown next month, Canadian actress Sonni Pacheco claims Renner threatened to kill her, TMZ.com reported Monday.

Pacheco, 28, also reportedly claims Renner, 48, stuck a gun in his mouth and separately fired it into the ceiling while their 6-year-old daughter was asleep in a nearby bedroom.

She further accuses "The Hurt Locker” actor of leaving cocaine on a bathroom counter where the child could reach it.

Reps for the star responded to the claims, in a statement; "The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy. This is a matter for the court to decide".

“It’s important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind," the statement said. Sonni had asked a judge to change the custody order from joint to sole, with supervised visits for Avengers star Jeremy.
