As a Christmas present for her 6-year-old daughter, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West purchased a custom velvet jacket worn by Michael Jackson to Elizabeth Taylor’s 65th birthday party in 1997.
The Kardashian-Wests shelled out $65,625 (£50,600) at auction back in October to buy the jacket.
Kim, 39, revealed the extravagant present on her Instagram stories, where she explained that her eldest daughter is a ‘really big fan’ of the King of Pop.
She said: ‘For Christmas, Kanye and I gave North this jacket, and this was Michael Jackson’s jacket that he wore with Elizabeth Taylor. North is a really big Michael Jackson fan, and we knew she would love this.
‘So we won this on an auction for Northy for Christmas and we had it like, tacked up so she can wear it.’
Kim added that they can ‘untack’ the jacket so North can keep it throughout her life, saying: ‘She is so grateful and so excited.’
