Veteran Nollywood actor Chief Chiwetalu Agu has dismissed viral reports on Facebook saying that he is critically ill and another saying that he is dead.
The rumour started after Chiwetalu Agu posted a particular picture where he looks a bit emaciated (old age things)..
So many uninformed people started posting that the comic actor is sick and needs prayers and money.
Chiwetalu Agu earlier reacted via his Instagram Page, dismissing the sick and death rumours.
Just this morning, Chiwetalu Agu posted some other screenshots of people that posted about his rumoured death and angrily dismissed it again. He wrote:
"Yesterday I got over 500 calls from Friends Fans And Family who want to know if the stories that they read on Facebook was TRUE
I'M NOT ON FACEBOOK
Now I don't know who started this nonsense stories of them being DEAD NOT ME but one thing I know is that all the people that started this story and posted it on Facebook will DIE before me in the name Chukwu Okike Abiama. Iseeeeeeeeeee
IF YOU SEE SUCH NONSENSE POST ON FACEBOOK PLEASE REPORT THE OWNER OF THE ACCOUNT.. Signed Chief Chiwetalu Agu".
