Rapper Blueface was arrested for attempted murder in Las Vegas, Nevada around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.
TMZ reports the rapper was swarmed by police in an apparent undercover bust outside Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles in Vegas.
Eyewitnesses tell TMZ about 6-8 undercover officers were involved in the arrest of Blueface, real name Johnathan Porter.
In a video clip, obtained by TMZ, the plainclothes officers grabbed the unsuspecting rapper and threw him on the ground as a crowd formed and demanded answers from police.
Blueface’s girlfriend, Chrisean Rock was also there looking just as confused as everyone else.
Cops told the rapper they were executing an open warrant for his arrest. According to legal documents, obtained by TMZ, he is charged with felony attempted murder.
The rapper is facing an additional count of discharging a gun into an occupied structure.
Blueface, 25, was arrested for a shooting incident that occurred in the 6300 block of Windy Road on October 8.
He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is being held without bond.
The troubled rapper is best known for his single “Thotiana” (featuring Cardi B and YG) that peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
