Life isn't rosy all the time !
For those of us with pot bellies
Blessed with abundance of jellies
Observing table is not our thing.

There are others unlike us with flattened
Tummies tossed to and fro hunger-driven
Beaten by the reality of our lack.

For those of us unlike them born
With silver spoons shouldn't forget
That circumstances and predicaments are cousins, we must teach  our kids never to look down on anyone because they are more privileged. As Parents , We should teach our kids how to accommodate others with love .
Happy Birthday @lordmaine2 keep growing in grace , we have so much content to post from today ."

Man commit suicide after killing his mother-in-law

A man whose identity is yet-to-be-disclosed, has killed his mother-in-law, using a cutlass on her, before poisoning himself to death.

The Nation reports that the incident happened a few hours into the New Year, at Arubayi Street in Warri area of Delta State.

It was gathered that the couple whose marriage wasn't supported by the mother-in-law had been separated, which resulted to the man's unhappiness.

According to an eyewitness, the man went to the victim's home with the intention of attacking his ex-wife, but ended up killing his mother-in-law, after the mother of his two children took to her heels on sighting him.

“She (the suspect's ex-wife) ran away. But her mother could not run because she had pains in one of her legs. The man attacked his mother-in-law with a cutlass until she died.

“Neighbours ran away. They said they were afraid. But the man later drank poison and died," the eyewitness was quoted as saying.

Delta State Police Commissioner, Adeyinka Adeleke, has confirmed the incident, saying it's a double tragedy as the suspect also killed himself.

I will stand down in 2023 and won’t contest in any future elections - President Buhari

President Buhari has officially confirmed that he will leave office in 2023 and won’t contest in any future elections.

Buhari said he is a strong believer of democratic principles and will promote and sustain them in Nigeria and across West Africa.

He stated this in his New Year letter to Nigerians, which was released by the Presidency at 6am on Wednesday (today).

“I will be standing down in 2023 and will not be available in any future elections. But I am determined to help strengthen the electoral process both in Nigeria and across the region, where several ECOWAS members go to the polls this year,” he said.

The emphasis on leaving office in 2023 is to clarify the speculation that there are underground moves to secure a third term for him after the completion of his current last term in 2023.

President Buhari also itemised what his regime had done since 2015 and would do in the years ahead to improve power supply, build roads/houses for Nigerians, develop agriculture, diversify the economy, create jobs, combat terrorism and promote democracy
