CNN news host Anderson Cooper and longtime boyfriend Benjamin Maisani splits up

CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper confirmed on Thursday that he and his longtime boyfriend of nine years, Benjamin Maisani, have broken up.

Cooper, 50, said in a statement , “Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago. We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.”

Although Cooper didn’t get into specifics about why the pair splits and the tabloid claims Cooper has already been spending time with someone else since the breakup (a doctor in Dallas) named Victor Lopez.

Donald Trump Jr's wife Vanessa Donald has filed an uncontested divorce from husband after 12 years of marriage and 5 kids on Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

“After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple told Page Six in a joint statement. “We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time.”

Sources close to the couple told The New York Post’s Page Six they’ve been living separate lives for quite some time now.
The two has been married since 2005 and have five children together.

“The problems have been there for a long time, the couple had hoped to stay together during the president’s time in office, but it is getting harder to resolve their issues. He’s never there,” one source told the outlet.

“Don Jr. has been busy traveling, which has contributed to their problems,” another insider claimed to the publication. “Vanessa is a devoted mother, but she is increasingly lonely and alone in the house with the children.”

Snapchat shares drops after been slammed by Rihanna over ad

Shares of Snap fell more than 4% on Thursday after Rihanna slammed them for its recent advert that asked “would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown."

Rihanna who was quite furious over the ad, blasted Snapchat on her IG account.

Though Snapchat had since apologized for the ad on Wednesday, saying it was an error.

“The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines,” the company said, . “We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened.”

On her relationship with Alex Rodriguez and whether she would consider tying the knot again: “I do believe in marriage, and I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I’m not forcing anything right now. It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t. We both entered the public eye in our early 20s and overachieved right from the start. And that affects every dynamic in your life, from your family to your work to your relationships. We have a similar makeup.”

On the secret to her agelessness: “Affirmations are so important. I am youthful and timeless. I tell myself that every day, a few times a day. It sounds like clichéd bullsh*t, but it’s not: Age is all in your mind. Look at Jane Fonda. She really leans in to the big fundamentals, like getting her rest, eight to 10 hours. She doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke. She lives a very clean life.”

On her experience with sexual harassment in Hollywood: “I haven’t been abused in the way some women have. But have I been told by a director to take off my shirt and show my boobs? Yes, I have. But did I do it? No, I did not. When I did speak up, I was terrified. I remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, ‘What did I do? This man is hiring me!’ It was one of my first movies. But in my mind I knew the behavior wasn’t right. It could have gone either way for me. But I think ultimately the Bronx in me was like, ‘Nah, we’re not having it.’”

Nigeria ranks 91st Happiest Country in the world

Finland is the world’s happiest country, according to an annual survey issued on Wednesday that put Burundi at the bottom of the happiness index and Nigerians at 91st position.
The survey also found Americans were getting less happy even as their country became richer.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network’s 2018 World Happiness Report ranked 156 countries according to their scores for things such as GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, social freedom, generosity and absence of corruption.

The 2018 top-10, as ever dominated by the Nordics, is Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Netherlands Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia. The U S. came in at 18th, down from 14th place in 2017.
Britain was 19th and the United Arab Emirates 20th.

Snapchat come under fire for Rihanna and Chris Brown domestic violence advertisement

Snapchat had come under fire for approving and promoting  a domestic violence advertisement featuring Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The advert, which was part of the app’s Would You Rather? game, asked users whether they’d prefer to “slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown.” Social media users were quick to condemn Snapchat for the message, prompting the company to take it down and issue an apology.

Miley Cyrus sued by Jamaican songwriter for $300 million copyright infringement claims

According to Reuters, Cyrus was sued for $300 million on Tuesday by a Jamaican songwriter Michael May who said the pop singer’s 2013 smash “We Can’t Stop” closely resembles a song he recorded 25 years earlier, and that she is infringing his copyright.

According to documents obtained, May said “We Run Things” has been “a favorite for lovers of reggae music worldwide” since the dancehall tune hit No. 1 in his home country in 1988. He claimed in the suit that about 50 percent of “We Can’t Stop,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 2013, comes from him.

May accused Cyrus and her label RCA Records of misappropriating his song, specifically his lyric “We run things / Things no run we,” which Miley sang as “We run things / Things don’t run we.” May also said in the lawsuit that Cyrus’ single “owes the basis of its chart-topping popularity … and its highly lucrative success to May’s protected, unique, creative and original content.”

The ex-reality star said she was quite disappointed, when she was rejected for participating in an IDP project she was hoping to be on but she was able to look for a camp that she could help out on and at the end, she was happy she was able to reach out.

I’ve Always been into Charity but usually orphanages but my heart was recently broken when I was rejected from participating in an IDP project- yeah u broke my heart 😒But then, that’s how I got this Brilliant idea which I told myself I would follow through no matter how uncomfortable until the very end. So I was supposed to visit an IDP camp( internally displaced persons camp) on my birthday but time just wasn’t my friend & the next day I was swamped so on Sunday which also happened to be Mother’s Day- I decided nothing would stop me & we did it. I, @miss_goldilocks @simplysorrentino @kemen_fitness went shopping for provisions & goodies, took some of my birthday cakes along & started looking for camps & we found one which is but a center out of the 11 in Abuja and just spent time with the women & kids. It’s simply Amazing the joy & Peace these kids brought to us, their happiness & laughter was infectious & I speak for everyone when I say we left there Extra thankful & happy & our $*%# re-arranged itself real Fast... Ps: might I add how well I seem to fit in. I be on some mega Angelina Jolie ishhh😂🤣. Beyonce and Jay-Z announce 'On the Run ll' joint world tour

Musical couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z have announced the tour dates for their upcoming, joint stadium tour, "On the Run II."

The global tour kicks off with a 15-stop European tour on June 6 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, UK.

The 21-show North American leg of the tour starts July 25 at the FirstEnergy Stadium stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

"On the Run II" is a follow-up to the couple's wildly successful 2014 "On the Run" tour, which was named after Jay-Z's song "Part II (On the Run)" and grossed over $95 million.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on March 19 at Live Nation.
