I have checked my mind out of marriage - Actress Regina Daniels

 

Following the high-profile collapse of her previous union, nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stated that she is no more interested in marriage.

During a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, Regina said;

“For some reason I have checked my mind out of getting married but I need to have a girl and I must have a girl. I feel like motherhppd starts better when you have a girl. You will understand motherhood when you have a girl child. Having boys is easy because at least you can groom them to have a role model in a father figure.

But for your girl child, you have to be that role model for them to emulate. Before I had my first son. I said, no, never. I will never have a girl child. Never, ever. But after my first, after my second. I remember, for some reason. You know, it’s female kids that remember''

The 25-year-old movie star was previously married to Delta State lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, with whom she shares two sons. The former couple tied the knot in 2019 when Daniels was 19 years old, but the marriage crashed in 2025 amid allegations of domestic abuse, drug abuse, and irreconcilable differences.

Former Big Brother Naija housemates, Adeoluwa Okusaga and Anita Singh, better known as Nini, are officially off the market. 

The duo became deeply fond of each other while appearing on BBNaija season 6 reality show.

While in the house, they shared everything together, slept on the same bed from the third week till their eviction from the show, but denied dating each other.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment Saga went down on his knee and asked her to be his partner. Nini said yes to him as they sealed their engagement with a kiss. 

They are both yet to announce their engagement on their social media pages.

So Sad! Actor Yul Edochie and wife, May, lose their first son, Kambilichukwu

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his wife, May, are bereaved as they lost their first son, Kambilichukwu Leo Yul-Edochie, on Wednesday, March 29.

According to reports, Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night on Tuesday in preparation for his exams on Wednesday. After his examination on Wednesday, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure.

He was immediately rushed to the Mother and Child hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Kambilichukwu turned 16 in January 2023 and his parents took to social media to celebrate him.

Reality TV star, Whitemoney tenders public apology to women after making a comment many felt insulting (video)

 

BBNaija Season 6 winner, Whitemoney has tendered a public apology to women after puting out a write-up many felt was insulting. 

Recall that last week, the reality TV star had put up what seemed liked an “inspirational post” where he said “no woman is out of a man’s league as long as he has money.” 

‘’I don't know who needs to hear this man. No woman is out of your league bro. Just make money and create your own games. They are going to play'' he said.

His comment received backlash from women who felt disrespected. He also had a face-off with former Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, and fellow BBNaija star, Doyin over his comment.

On Monday, a video of him speaking in a podcast where he was trying to justify his statement, went viral.

According to him, women associate with men when they are at their ‘’finished stage'' and not at their ‘’beginning stage''. He was again attacked by Nigerian women.

In a video shared this morning on his Instagram page, Whitemoney tendered an apology to women who did not get the “point” he was trying to make.

Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus, has been gifted a generous gift, "A Hermes Birkin Bag" by controversial preacher, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

Taking to her official Instagram page, the celebrity star shared a video of the moment she received the gift and the preacher was heard saying that the expensive fashion item was her reward for putting up a good fights on social media.

A Birkin bag range in price from $12,000 to $200,000 depending on the size, colour and material.

In her caption, she continued to shower praises on the preacher. She wrote:

Michelle Yeoh makes history as the first Asian Best Actress Oscar nominee

 

Michelle Yeoh is making history yet again after grabbing her first Oscar nomination for Best Actress on Tuesday, January 24.

The nomination makes her the first actress of Asian descent to be nominated in the Best Actress category of the Oscars. 

Speaking to Deadline after the nominate, Yeoh said; 

"I think what it means to me is all those Asians out there go, 'You see, it's possible. If she can do it, I can freaking well do it as well.' That is the most important thing. I'm very ordinary. I just work very hard. There are so many brilliant actresses, actors out there who know that they have a seat at the table. All they have to do is find an opportunity and get there."

The Malaysian-born actress who is considered a Best Actress front-runner at the upcoming Academy Awards for her performance as Evelyn Wang in Everything Everywhere All at Once told TIME last month that she has "thought about" the fact that no Asian woman has ever won Best Actress at the Oscars, adding, "And not just me, I feel like my full Asian community has thought about it."

Yeoh became a movie star in Asia before crossing over worldwide in films like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” (2000) and “Crazy Rich Asians” (2018). 

The actress has picked up several honors on the awards trail this season, including a Golden Globe for best actress. She became only the second Asian actress to win the award (Awkwafina won the award in 2020 for her role in The Farewell).

Yeoh has also taken home best-actress accolades from the Saturn Awards and Hollywood Critics Association for her role in the movie, and was nominated for outstanding lead performance at the Gotham Independent Film Awards. She is also up for best lead performance at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, which will be held on March 4.

Everything Everywhere All at Once became A24's first to cross $100 million at the global box office. The film also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, who also received a nod for her performance at the Academy Awards, Jenny Slate and Harry Shum Jr

Paris Hilton is officially a mom.

The 41-year-old businesswoman shocked fans on Tuesday February 24, when she revealed that she secretly welcomed a child, a baby boy, with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate.

'It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other,' Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE..

She captioned a photo of his little hand in hers, "You are already loved beyond words."

'We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.'

This is Hilton's first child, but Reum, 40, already shares a 10-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi.

Last month, the Simple Life star shared that she started in vitro fertilization (IVF) back in mid-2020 before Reum ever proposed.

She was recently forced to clarify the status of their IVF journey after her mother Kathy Hilton claimed the pair were struggling to conceive.

'I have tons of embryos that are waiting, we've been stocking up on a lot of them,' Hilton fired back after she was asked about her mother's remark by TMZ.

The newborn was wrapped up in a grey blanket as she rested her head onto her own arm while Chrissy cradled her. 

Chrissy captioned the snap to her 40.5million followers: 'look at u out here lookin like a baby.'
