Actress Belinda Effah announces change of name

 

Nollywood actress Belinda Effah, 31, has officially changed her name to Grace-Charis Bassey.

The actress made the revelation in the early hours of Wednesday via Instagram. 

She wrote: “New Name Alert! Hello my darlings, it is with great joy and absolute glory to God that I announce that my names have officially and legally been changed from Belinda Effah to Grace-Charis Bassey E. and will be honored and grateful if I am addressed as thus.”

Actress Chacha Eke says she has healed mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually after battle with bipolar disorder

 

Chacha Eke Faani has revealed that she's now "restored" in spirit and in body, months after she said she's been diagnosed with bipolar and cleared her husband of the claims she made that he abused her.

Recall that in October 2020, the actress released a troubling video where she said her marriage is over but she's leaving with her "life". 

This had sparked speculations that there has been a case of domestic violence in her marriage. 

However, days later she emerged to put the blame on herself. She said she's been diagnosed with bipolar and she erupts whenever she's pregnant.

The actress' brother and some of her colleagues did not buy her explanation and still made efforts to help her. But she refused their help. She called her brother out and said she hasn't seen him in years. 

She also said she's not in good terms with her family and they can't speak about what goes on in her marriage ans that as for her colleagues who insisted all was not well, she asked them to stop meddling.

Months after, she has now released a statement on Instagram to let everyone who has been reaching out know that she's now better.

She wrote:

I have received many phone calls, read lots of DMs’, text messages and emails from many concerned folks these past months. 98% of them inquiring, “ChaCha, are you okay? ChaCha, I hope you’re fine now?”....

Beloved, like the butterfly I have been metamorphosing. Healing my mind before my body can make it out here. Join me thank my “Chi” who has gloriously renewed my spirit and restored my body. I have seen the light; every darkness in my path have disappeared. I am happy to be back. I am Okay. I am doing so Great.

Tunde Ednut rants on Twitter after his Instagram page was deleted again

 

Tunde Ednut has taken to Twitter to lament after his new Instagram account got deleted again. 

The popular Nigerian singer turned blogger’s first 2.6 million verified Instagram account got deleted by Instagram last month, December, for spam because of several reporting of the account to Instagram for violating a policy by body-shaming several women with his account. 

Two days ago, he returned to the platform with a new username @kingtundeednut, and he garnered 1 million followers in less than 48 hours.

However, the popular blogger woke up to another sad news from Instagram as his new Instagram account has been deleted again. 

Reacting to this, he took to Twitter to vent lament on the treatment given him by Instagram. As he also disclosed that he’s getting tired.

Reality tv star turned actress, Venita Akpofure has denied a ‘hookup girl’ after being  called out by a Twitter user.
