I find it hard to believe - Bobrisky reacts to Mompha's arrest by the EFCC

Bobrisky has reacted to the arrest of Mompha, after Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirmed in its statement yesterday, that the Dubai-based Nigerian man was arrested over his alleged involvement in internet related fraud and money laundering.


Reacting to news of his arrest, Bobrisky says he finds it quite hard to believe all that has been written about him (Mompha) but prays that God see him through.

"l still find it to believe wat I read about you. I still spoke to you few days ago @mompha but it’s fine. Dis shall pass soon. May God see you through dis tough time because you have an amazing heart"

'I am big on cellulite on the thigh so I wanted to make sure there was extra bonding on the side of the thigh,' explained the mother of three.

Bobrisky explains what really happened between him and the man who bashed his Range Rover, damaged his iPhone 11 max

On Monday, October 21, a video went viral on the  internet, where a man was seen beating up Bobrisky right in his (bobrisky) car.

In the clip, Bob was seen running towards a car that bashed him from behind. An argument ensued, and the cross dresser was seen rushing towards the man's car to pick his phone and remove his car key.

He succeeded and the man gave him a chase to his Range Rover and from the video, it looked like he hit Bobriksy several times.

In the process, Bob's new iphone 11 max  was also smashed. After that, Bob got him arrested and the man in a video Bob just posted on his page, apologized for his wrong however says his apology is not accepted as he explained what happened.

Next time !!!! When you meet people you don’t know you will calm down and know who they are. As about 5.17pm I was driving to a meeting when dis man bashed my car from behind. Mistakes happen, but wat got me so mad was when dis ugly man said wat can I do to him after hitting my car.... ahhhhh I was shocked. I was trying to record his stupidity when he was saying wat can I do. The next thing I saw was he hit my iPhone 11 max too. I got so mad 😡 I ran into his car to collect his phone and his car key Only for him to run after me to collect his phone and car key from me. I fought him like I was on something.... at some point I didn’t even care to see people recording. I was mad 😡. Your apology might be accepted but you must sleep over in that cell. Then tomorrow you will get me a new phone 1phone 11 max and fix my car. I might be calm and nice. But I don’t take nonsense from any motherfucker."

EFCC confirms arrest of Mompha’, popular Instagram ‘Big Boy’

EFCC has confirmed the arrest of a popular Instagram celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha also known as Mompha.

This was made known through the official Twitter handle of the commission on Tuesday.

Mustapha was said to have been arrested by the anti-graft agency in the Federal Captial Territory, Abuja.

In a statement, the EFCC said Mompha was arrested for his alleged involvement in Internet-related fraud and money laundering.

It said, “The EFCC, Lagos office, has arrested social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha popularly known as Mompha, for alleged involvement in Internet-related fraud and money laundering.

“The suspect, a premium and first-class customer of one of the popular international airlines, was arrested on October 18, 2019 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on his way to Dubai, United Arab Emirate, following series of intelligence reports received by the commission.

“Actionable cross-border intelligence received from collaborative law enforcement agencies about his alleged involvement in the criminal activities further strengthened our suspicion.” 

Mustapha, who allegedly perpetrates his fraudulent activities under the guise of being a Bureau de Change operator, is always seen with his little son flaunting huge amount of foreign currencies on his social media platforms.

The suspect has volunteered useful information to the operatives and has admitted being reasonably involved in the first two cases he was accused of.

At the point of arrest, five wristwatches with a total worth of over N20m were recovered from him.

The EFCC said he will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

Ebuka reveals why Tacha was disqualified from Big Brother Naija show

BBNaija host, Ebuka, has opened up on Tacha’s disqualification from the ‘pepper dem’ reality show.

Tacha was disqualified following a violence that broke out between herself and arch-rival, Mercy, on Friday, 27th September.

Her disqualification sparked an uproar....

Ebuka in an interview with Beat FM, said the self-acclaimed ‘Portharcourt first daughter was bound to be disqualified, even before she pulled Mercy’s hair.

Acording to him, when Tacha pushed and shoved Mercy, her disqualification was already done.

He said, "When Tacha shoved and pushed Mercy, I think that was when it was done, even before the hair-pulling.  I am talking about the fight that started at the kitchen. Big Brother had called them to the kitchen to simmer down the situation, but the fight got even worse.

"So way before the hair was pulled, there was already contact. With violence like that, it is hard to say, because Big Brother is very clear on that. You don’t put your hands on someone. If you allow a shove and push, tomorrow it becomes a punch."

When asked why Mercy was not disqualified, Ebuka said, " I don’t know. Like I said, I don’t make these decisions. But what Mercy did was flip her hair, which you could see was contact, but there are other sides to it. Like was it intentional? I don’t know. Was it physically going to harm her? I don’t know either.

"I don’t know what the reason was for not disqualifying Mercy as well but she got two strikes. I guess that’s what they felt the weight of what she did carried."

Hollywood actress Sofia Vergara ordered to pay $80,000 to ex-fiance in frozen embryo lawsuit

Sofia Vergara has been ordered to pay her ex $80,000 (£61,000) in legal fees amidst a legal battle over her embryos.

The Modern Family actress is involved in a legal row with her ex-fiance Nicholas Loeb, who previously sought to obtain full custody of two pre-embryos they created together through IVF.

Loeb filed a motion for attorney’s fees in June 2019, asking a judge for $117,590.17 (£90,198.72) in attorney fees and $2,958.26 (£2,260.38) in costs from his ex.

Loeb claimed that he was successful in his anti-SLAPP motion (which provides for early dismissal of meritless lawsuits) as it related to a ‘malicious prosecution claim’.

However, Vergara, 47, argued the motion ‘should be denied or heavily reduced to the extent it is based on block billing and seeks fees and costs for services not shown to be related to the successful portion of the anti-SLAPP motion’.

A judge ruled that the billing records didn’t justify the fees sought by Loeb, and applied a 35% reduction – meaning Vergara has been ordered to pay to $79,392.26 (£60,871.63), with $76,433 (£58,601.95) in attorney’s fees and $2,959.26 (£2,260.82) in costs.

Sofia and Nicholas began dating in 2010 and got engaged two years later, before splitting in 2014.
