Kanye West 'Sunday Service' apparel trademark application rejected

Rapper Kenye West's attempt to trademark Sunday Service has reportedly been denied.

According to TMZ on Friday (Oct. 18), the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office reportedly rejected ‘Ye’s application for the exclusive ownership rights to the term Sunday Service. West was going to use the mark to sell apparel, footwear, dresses, headwear, accessories, loungewear and more.

According to the media outlet, someone else reportedly owns the name and therefore Kanye can’t use it because it might cause confusion in the marketplace.
