Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has lost his cousin, Ugonna Okpara to the cold hands of death.

Ugonna Okpara passed on Wednesday, October 13, after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.

In a heartfelt tribute to her, the actor wrote he still can't believe she is gone and that he still call her phone hoping it will ring and he advised Nigerians to learn to love one another as life is nothing but a fleeing mirage.

"What is the meaning of Life?
Life is but a fleeting mirage, 1 minute we are here next minute we are there.
Ugonna, I still can’t believe you are gone.
you loved me like a sister, this one hit me bad.
I’m still calling your phone hoping it will ring, maybe it’s a dream.
You never know if the last time you see or talk to someone is the last time you will ever see or talk to that person again, let that sink in," he said.

"Dear youth of my time, pls let us learn to let love lead, so much bitterness, anger, envy & jealousy towards ourselves, everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about. We act as though we have spare lives stashed in the cupboard.
One Terminal illness all the “shakara” is gone, ponder on that".

"Ugonna, you came you lived, you touched lives, thank you for all you did for me, thank you for all you did for everyone.
We have chosen not to mourn you, but to celebrate your time with us because death is a necessary end for us all."
